Cyprus Wine Museum

Located near the bridge of Kourris rives which connects Erimi to Eposkopi and the semi-mountainous and mountainous Communities, which were reach in wine production. The Cypriot Wine Museum is housed in a traditional home in Erimi. The creation of the Museum aims to present the wine production procedure form the ancient times until today. At the Museum a rich photographic material is exhibited, which ‘’narrates’’ to the visitor all the phases of grape processing, from the cultivation until the production of wine. Through the photographs one can get to know the traditional of the one hand and the modern on the other hand methods of wine production. Additionally, at the Wine Musuem there are several items which were useful in the production as well as the storage of wine, such as pithoi (jars), jugs.
