Holy Temple
Timios Prodormos

In the village center and on the remains of an older Temple of ”John the Baptist” based on Rupert Gunnis) the Temple of Timios Prodromos was built. The temple is built in a single- aisled vaulted roofed basilica traditional rhytm, the which is usual in the Cypriot architecture (19th – beginning of the 20th century). Outside it is adorned with stone decorations of exquisite art and inside the whole temple is narrated with Byzantine Art of Cretan School.
